Hello! My name is Ms. Yvonne TrujilloWolfe, and I am proud to serve as an Assistant Principal at Santiago High School.

With 29 years of experience in education, I’ve spent most of my career working in alternative education as a Special Education teacher and Assistant Principal supporting students through personalized, flexible pathways to success.  I also spent two years at the district office, where I supported Career Technical Education (CTE) programs across the district, helping to expand opportunities for students to explore career pathways and gain real-world skills.

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.  These experiences helped shape my belief in the power of education to transform lives and have fueled my commitment to serving students with compassion and purpose.

I am passionate about building strong relationships, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring that every student feels seen, valued, and capable.  At Santiago, I’m honored to work alongside an incredible team of educators, students, and families to create an environment where all learners can thrive.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family—whether it’s a day at the beach, riding bikes, or taking a quick weekend trip.  I’m a proud Army mom to my son, who serves in the U.S. Army, and my daughter is a dedicated Special Education teacher and head girls volleyball coach in Arizona.  Watching both of them pursue their passions with heart and purpose fills me with pride.

It’s a privilege to be part of the Santiago family, and I look forward to supporting our students and staff as we continue to grow, lead, and succeed together.
