BE A SHARK Standard Classroom Expectations
In an effort to standardize classroom expectations, Santiago teaches the following BE A SHARK behaviors. These are expectations for ALL STUDENTS in ALL CLASSES. As a staff, we believe these behaviors:

lead to a safe and supportive environment with a sense of community and belonging
create a positive learning environment and competent responsible citizens
produce measurable results that include: fewer discipline issues, better attendance, higher academic performance, and a generally more positive, inclusive, and encouraging atmosphere

BE A SHARK Remote/Virtual Classroom Expectations

Just like our in-class expectations, Santiago teaches students that there are remote/virtual behavior expectations as well. Learning and practicing these behaviors will result in the same positive outcomes. BAS Remote Expectations
